History of the Yukon Fat Tire Fever name

The name Fat Tire Fever comes from a mountain bike race held annually in Whitehorse during the late 1980s.

The original Fat Tire Fever race was organized by Jack MacNeil and Bill Parry every August.

In fact, part of our event route is on the original Fat Tire Fever race course; a sweet high-five to this legacy!
